Jonathan is very professional at his job. He worked diligently to get my townhome sold and to help me purchase a new single-family home. He gave me several good suggestions for selling, and helped negotiate a good deal on the house I was purchasing. He was present during the inspection and worked with the seller to get work completed before closing. The loan and closing process went very smoothly. I would recommend Jonathan to anyone interested in selling their home, or looking to purchase a new one.
Once again we need to thank Paul James Kane for coming through for us. We had a question about our house and not only did he respond with great advice and a great recommendation but also responded within 5 minutes of me sending him an email. You can't go wrong choosing him as your realtor. He always comes through for you, even a month after you have closed on your house! Thanks, Jim!

Interactions with Jim make it apparent that he knows the industry and has a reputation second to none. Any mortgage lender, home insurance agent, etc. that I spoke with knew him well and had nothing but positive things to say about him. Even other realtors spoke very highly of him, which you don’t see happen very often. I knew we made the right choice initially because of the feedback we were getting. It became even more apparent within the first few days of working with him that he was going to exceed any expectations that we had.
Jim is very attentive and understands the needs of his clients. We discussed at length what we wanted in a home and what was important to us. His attention to detail enabled him to find the perfect home for our expanding family. He also did all of the legwork so things were simple for us and went as smoothly as they possibly could have.
Because of his hard work, we were able to move into our new house a little over month after our search began. Jim was also able to sell our townhouse in that same timeframe, with the townhouse going under contract in less than a week. I never thought in a million years that someone would be able to coordinate buying a new house and selling a house at the exact same time. We are fortunate because Jim was able to pull it off. We attribute our successful experience to his hard work and dedication. We recognized that Jim had other clients that he was servicing at the same time as us but we would’ve never known that by his actions. He was very attentive and on top of any question or concern that we posed.
He takes a unique approach to each client and tailors his interactions based off of their needs. I prefer to email and Jim recognized that immediately. He made sure to communicate through email, but was also available any time that I picked up the phone to call him. He is very responsive and responds within minutes, not days like I was expecting. Any request that we had was handled with professionalism and answered with responses that were always right on point. I am the type that likes to research everything by myself. I realized quickly that Jim was even more thorough than I was. He has a knack for earning your trust, which makes you realize that Jim has nothing but your best interest in his sights. Because of this, I stopped doing as much research and relied on him to ensure that we were making the best decisions possible for our situation. We closed on our new house and sold our townhouse in a little over a month because of Jim’s hard work and dedication to his clients.
I usually like to give fair balance and give at least one thing that someone could improve on just so that someone who is reading this knows that I am being candid. I can say with complete honesty that Jim is one of the few people that I would recommend to family and friends without a moment’s hesitation. I couldn’t even come up with one thing that he could improve.

Would absolutely recommend Jonathan.
We had been looking for house for close to 7 months and not once did we feel overly pressured to settle. He took us all around Raleigh and wasn't the type of realtor to just open the door and tell us to look around. He took the time to walk through with us, point out the characteristics of the house and overall was a ton of help in deciding our first house.
If you're looking for someone that's knowledgeable in the area, super responsive and someone you'd like to hang out with (you end up spending a lot of time with your realtor!) then look no further.

Jonathan Kane did all the things you would want and expect a Realtor to do……and he did them well. He listened to what I wanted, he knew the market, and we spent time looking at places that met those specs. He pointed out the pluses and minuses of each property in a professional manner. There was no wasted time. What really set him apart though was that the inventory was low and there was one thing or another that didn’t quite work for me. I was nearing a deadline and was about to make an offer on something I liked but wasn’t excited about. Most Realtors would not do this but Jonathan stopped me and pointed out that I was about to make a big decision on something he knew I really did not want to do. The very next week the exact kind of property I was looking for came on the market. We looked at it the same day, the price was right and I’m about to move in. I couldn’t be more excited and I’m grateful to Jonathan for advising me to take a little more time.

Jonathan is very on top of it. We have always felt that he is extrememly responsive.

I would recommend Jonathan Kane to anyone looking to buy and/or sell their home! My husband and I worked with him to sell our home and find a new home for our growing family. Moving with our young children (a 2 year old and a 2 month old) was nothing short of one of the most stressful situations we've been through--- but we had little else to worry about since Jonathan kept us up to date on every step of our selling and buying processes. We felt confident in all our buying and selling decisions thanks to his guidance and vast knowledge of the area, the market, and contracts!
